- “Leave a message at the tone” – records and transcribes the message.
Regardless of which option is chosen, Tendant updates the subscriber’s messaging (chat) module. If a voicemail is left, they see the message transcript and a link to audio. If the call is transferred, they get an alert showing who took the call, and if the caller elected self-service, the self-service results are posted to the chat, so the subscriber is always kept fully informed. What’s more, all callers receive a link via SMS directing them via their cell phone or desktop browser to the instant messaging chat — there’s no need for them to download the Tendant app. This level of connectivity establishes a direct link between the agent and the caller where both parties can exchange messages beyond the initial call.
